I sincerely doubt most of them think that far ahead. Most have been doing shit like this all their life and are already “dead” on the inside. They just don’t care. They’ve accepted their fate, its just how the game goes.
That is dark, but I am sure it is true. It sounds like they have their souls ripped out of them at the moment of birth. Pretty fucked up way to live, that it makes death seem like a reward.
