I can kind of see why they died - the sound from the first train was loud enough to drown out the sound of the 2nd oncoming train. So if you aren't actually looking, then you'd never notice something coming at you.

I'm still surprised nobody else saw the other train, but then again when it's that loud you can't warn someone with your voice. So it's more a matter of not getting caught up in the moment and realizing that another train could possibly be coming the other direction.

Or just not playing on train tracks. That's always a good idea too.

Eh i played on train tracks all the time as a kid. All we did as kids down in Florida. The difference is the ability of the parent to instill some intelligence into their offspring. We knew to watch for trains, and we knew trains would fuck us up. I actually miss those days, flattening penny's and such.

I did the same thing. Still have some of those flattened pennies.

And you probably wouldn't think another train would come from the opposite direction at the same time. Also, wasn't the second train going like bullet-train fast?
