Re: Bounty Hunter Shootout at Car Dealership
About the only way to handle someone this hardcore of a criminal would be to set up an ambush like they did with Bonnie & Clyde. Have many men with automatic weapons hidden in the bushes and open fire without any warning. Shoot to kill and give no chance to surrender. An execution. Of course, the Nervous Nellies would wail and whine about that too. If the bodyguards would have called the cops, the cops most likely could not have handled this guy either and several cops would have probably died. He had a near ISIS type of credo and commitment to not be captured and kill anybody and everybody in his way. Very, very few people in this world can really handle a situation like this. It is a wild card no matter what. That's why people like this should be executed without warning. It's just about the only way possible for ordinary even well trained lawmen to do it. |

How not to be a bounty hunter.... My only guess is they must have thought since he had no previous for violence or gun carrying, easy take down... 2 bounty hunters dieing on a job, shit that must be pretty rare..

Re: Bounty Hunter Shootout at Car Dealership
Yep. I think that even Navy SEALS would consider that a very dangerous mission. That perp's danger level was simply far beyond the vast majority of any and all law enforcement's ability to do a 'no problem' arrest. Even the hardest, toughest, most battle hardened Navy SEALS with the benefit of years of many actual combat missions can (and do) end up getting killed. |

Re: Bounty Hunter Shootout at Car Dealership
This was a nightmare from a tactical point of view. They had the high ground at the beginning as they had drawn on the guy before he had a chance to do anything. They fucked that up when they went in to hook him up... If they held firm instead of advancing they could have lit him up nice if they saw him reaching. Lack of training at its finest.
