Talking from experience, dont risk even a single life trying to defuse a bomb. Clear the area and just set the dam thing off using a smaller charge!

It's never like it is in the old Hollywood WWII movies, is it? G.I. Joe in an act of bravery dives onto the grenade and saves others around him, usually women and children, and goes instantly. No pain, no suffering, just a quick bang, and he sleeps forever. But in the real world- well, I winced seeing him writhing in his slow death agonies. Noticed they pixelated out what was left of his hands & face? Poor bastard
