Personally, I'm an isolationist when it comes to getting involved with things. I don't know why it was decided that we had to go in and try to help everyone and everything...

We have children dying and starving and horrendous things happening on our own turf that gets ignored. The more we let ourselves fall and fail, the less help we can possibly be to others, and we leave ourselves vulnerable for this kind of calamity.

I support my troops, I've lost friends and family who have served, but I don't think we need to send them out to take care of everyone's problems. It's not realistic.

And perhaps our allies are sick of having to back us up because we go charging into the fray of everything all the time?

When will you americans(not all of you) get it through your thick sculls, the US troops are NOT there to help anybody, ok? Purely for profit and control, and that goes for a lot of countries in europe as well. Everybody wants a piece of the pie. Even Norway with their peaceprize bs are pushing guns like a motherfucker together with the other scandinavian countries.
Not bashing americans, but it is much easier for non americans to see through the bs US politics, since they have been subjected to different propaganda.
What goes on in their own country, they usually know nothing about, though..
