It is clearly seen the driver braked the car, the front end lowers just before hitting both women, then the trajectory of the car proves it as it swerves after hitting them, if he had not break, the car would've gone in a straight trajectory.
If he hadn't been speeding and probably drunk or drugged up, this wouldn't have happened.

The freeway had been closed to cars by the police. This idiot entered from an off ramp. She died standing up for something she believed in. More honor than most deaths.

I live north of Seattle, and when this was shown on the local news, the people who got hit received little sympathy. We'd been putting up with this shit long enough, and it wasn't a question of if, but when this was going to happen.
Surprise, surprise, they FINALLY decided that standing around on the freeway will no longer be tolerated....
