I would guess a .32 or .38 caliber. Too small or he wouldn’t still be moving and breathing after minutes. If that were a .40 or .45 he could have done the quick Bud Dwyer and be done already.

I speak Portuguese and it seems that he did not try to kill himself. It seems that there was a fight or an attempted robbery and he was shot by another armed person.
