I hate to be the 'ackshually' guy, but that's a miniature helicopter, not a gyrocopter.. gyrocopter has no powered main rotor and uses its rear pusher engine to provide motive power. The lift is generated by the windmilling upper rotor. The Gyrocaptain's machine from The Road Warrior is a gyrocopter, but they use movie magic to make it appear like a true helicopter with a powered top rotor. |

I never studied physics, so all I know is something something transfer of energy. Fucking crazy how a, maybe, 200 pound adult can be flipped through the air like that after being hit in the head. |
