Looks as if all involved share some fault. Besides the passenger I suppose. Have no clue what that cyclist was doing. Committing suicide? But the biker was speeding, it's hard to tell exactly but I'd guess the bike is going close to 60 mph. It looks like the biker didn't do any reacting, just hit the cyclist without even braking. Or trying to evade the collision. Having a passenger on your bike is not ideal. I hate when my girl wants to ride with me. I bought her her own bike so I don't have to do it very often. Trying to stop fast is twice as hard obviously. And their weight pushes you forward when you are hard on the brakes. You'll be sitting in the seat, hit the brake hard, then your nuts become one with the gas tank. |
