Biker on His Way to Hospital Dies After Falling of an Overpass
Just hours after asking for directions to a hospital in a Thai Facebook group, a German man died when he crashed his motorcycle and fell off an overpass in Bangkok. An infection in the lower leg brought Christian Melzer, 39, to the Facebook group on Friday afternoon seeking for help for his leg infection. He asked: “Who can tell me a really good hospital which I can visit with Social Security? Never mind in which area in BKK Ort around.” “I have 6 months to fight with an infection and my hospital (Chalurat 9) not got it away. I have much pain and I don’t know what to do anymore” Replies to the post urged Mr Melzer to seek urgent medical attention. However, Mr Melzer suggested that he had no money to pay for treatment and no private insurance, saying: “Thank you for all the replies, but it seems I also can forget that. Even to change the allowed hospital by the social security take about one month. Don’t know what I can do more” Only two hours later, at around 17:00, Mr Melzer was dead. On the way to a hospital a Facebook user had recommended in the comments of his post, he collided with a road barrier, sliding over the railing and plummeting down. He died on the spot. |

=,( Fuck Obamacare Charging people money for not having insurance! I wish the doctors Christian worked with studied hard and actually treated the man successfully... Had the doctors done their job AND ACTUALLY DID IT WELL, this man would not have died this way... It was the Doctor's fault for being incompetent, causing the patient to seek out other forms of treatment... and meeting his untimely end in doing so. Fuck worthless |

Looks like a motorcycle muffler burn, in the lower inside of the R/H leg. I've gotten them, but they didn't turn into this condition. Guess we don't have the same kind of nasty bacteria in the states that they do in Asia......

By the looks of it, the poor bugger would of been awake and alert the whole free fall. You can see he is trying to compensate balance as he slides along the railing but to no avail.

I see your point with Doctors not getting to the root of it and such but what does Obamacare have to do with Bangkok Thailand?

You realize that this is not America, right? If so, you do know that the ACA is only in the US, right? And you must also know that ~95% of the framework of the ACA is going to be used by the new administration... |
