These people are Salafi jihadists, they believe that it's their religious duty to kill infidels and create an islamic state, and consider all other sects in Islam to be heretics , regardless if they are in Pakistan,Iraq, or Syria. If these people take over Syria there won't be any freedom for anyone. |

If that is what you truly believe you are ridiculously naive.  This is exactly what the "freedom fighters" in Egypt were supposedly chanting for when Mubarak stepped down. And now the Muslim Brotherhood wants to establish Egypt as an Islamic state, Sharia law, a new caliphate......all the wonderful things they usually do once they've thrown off the cloak of respectability and shown their true colors to the world. And of course Obama and his cronies are sending America military planes and lots of moolah to a group of people who hate us, would love nothing more than to see any country that has a free and democratic society either destroyed or converted, and who, in the next few years, will probably get to work on the systematic destruction of the Sphinx and Pyramids because they are idols to false gods....just like the Taliban did with the Buddhist statues in Bamiyan that had graced the area since the Second century AD, and like the hardliners are currently handling ancient buildings and treasure in Mali right now. These people want Democracy as much as your average person wants a root canal without anesthesia.

Even though we have one tenth of the people here in Canada, ALL the adults can read and write above a primary school level, unlike our southern neighbours.. so who is misinformed again Einstein? Pistols, AR-15's, shotguns with barrels as short as 8 fucking inches my friend. I can buy a Norinco M14 for 429 bucks with a hard case n 2 mags. I believe in gun rights for the same reason you have a second amendment, to keep the gov't honest. The other fudge packer calling himself a Canuck is very likely a recent immigrant who doesn't have a fucking clue who the brave and feared warriors of the first and second world wars were, much less that a shitload of them were Canadian.
