Ok, I'm mixed about the music in this. On the one hand, it's a doom metal/surf gaze style of music that is actually kinda fitting in theory, with it's chaotic, eerie, sombre, and mostly despair filled aura, the slow tempo, the distorted reverb solo, it sorta pairs with the mood/vibe of the executions you're watching - horrific, drawn out and agonizing acts of violence. So on that note, points.  But the other part of me is like "Jesus fucking Christ, it just won't stop and I wanna hear what's going on IN the video...". But still, as a comp goes, some new stuff I missed, and a reminder of how much more brutal the Cartels are than any religious zealot. |
