WOW I did not know Apaches got shot down. I knew plenty of the other choppers were knocked down but not those? I thought they were too sophisticated to be downed by these rag-tag fedayeen. Respect!

Those rag-tag fedayeens use stingers or the soviet equivalent and they're pretty capable of taking down any egg whisk flying around the earth's atmosphere. Some people said it's impossible for Titanic to go down and it did.

Iran gives away Strella missiles to insurgents they are about as good as stinger missiles fired from close range the pilot doesn't have much time. They are rare though.
