The only issue with the rain here was that the rider who hit him probably didn't see him till it was too late. I'm sure on a clear track, he would have been able to spot him early enough to swerve out of the way. It is what it is. RIP Antonelli.

The rider was Lorenzo Zanetti and he is fine. Most of time, unless the riders are struck by another bike, they walk away from most incidents like this because of all protective gear they wear. I've personally ate shit at triple digits at the track and walked away with nothing more than a bruised ego and sore body thanks to gear.
