Some moron attempted to do this at my building YEARS ago. He thought it'd be a smart idea to try and swing himself from his balcony to the lower floor which was his aunt's, rather than take an elevator... he ended up falling 7 floors down and landed face flat onto this platform covered in snow right next to my window. He luckily survived, and even stood up, covered in blood and his neck was shaking like a bobblehed. I was absolutely traumautized by the sight, I was only 9 years old at the time.

I reviewed the video couple of times, focus on when he let go.

It seemed to me that she was trying to help him, until he let a hand go, and she released her hand on his, and he just fell. Almost like they talked:

"Hun, sorry, but the jig is up. I cannot hold anymore, but you can help and save me. I paid up on the life insurance, so you should be collecting a lot of money soon!"

THEN she quickly let him go, and she laughs all the way to the agent to collect the check!

Right part of the balcony was literally a ladder and he still tried to reach the far railing on the left side.

I suspect nobody accused him for being too smart.
