I wonder if anyone's ever been conscious after a really quick beheading like this long enough to feel gratitude towards the beheader for doing such a good job. That would probably be the most paradoxical emotion possible.

Don't forget though, al-Nusra (a branch of al-Qaeda) have been around longer so they've had more practice. Leave the beheading to the professionals, I always say!
