That's a big boy rifle. Due to the uniform red hue of the ammo I want to say it's Russian surplus and it's 12.7×108mm (same role as 50BMG). It's also single shot so it would be the easiest type of rifle to brew up in some jihadist basement. |

.50 caliber and similar sized chamberings are fairly common in military circles these days. US, Europe, China, Russia, etc. all produce models for their own militaries as well as for export. Civilians can legally own a .50 caliber rifle in most US states. (Very expensive though. Rife and ammo.) |
