Accountable or not, you have to try & preserve life the best way that you are capable & trained to do so, CPR, Stop the Bleeding, put them in the recovery position, make sure that their airway is clear ect, or even if it's just to comfort those in need with some calming words of reassurance while medical assistance is on the way as every little bit helps.

Are you guys dense ? You cannot move them because you could further injure them. They're not trying to be dicks but if you move them, you could paralyze them or possibly kill them. That's why the man clearly tells the woman to not move because she might further injure herself.

If someone tries to move an injured person and later dies that good samaritan can be held accountable for causing the death of the injured person.

It's just like this in China, if not worse. Nobody helps nobody there, no matter if they drop dead in the middle of the street from a heart attack. You're guilty until proven innocent there. It's not the people's fault - it's the incompetent politicians who make the idiotic laws. Thank goodness we don't have politicians like that in America. :eyeroll

I'm very familiar with this highway, and accidents like this happen frequently. In this part of Mexico the less-bad drivers are careless and the worst drivers are careless and super-aggressive. The taxis and the van drivers tend to be the most aggressive. There are constant deaths on this stretch of highway.

I 100% agree with you. I, too, have been on this highway and it is crazy how people drive there.
