Re: Afghanistan - Comedian Killed by Taliban
Some dumbass on Joe Rogan was talking about we should have never went into Afghanistan. No we should have taken off the gloves and done what needed to be done. Like armies did for centuries to rid the world of evil. The Taliban should have been hunted down to the last one. Because unfortunately the Afghan people do not know how to defend freedom. They do not have a strong moral fabric of defending people and their rights. So their military units were filled with soldiers who just didn't care. They were not going to risk their lives for freedom. But they'd risk their lives if they felt you were disrespecting their religion. |

Re: Afghanistan - Comedian Killed by Taliban
The war in Afghanistan cost us $300 million a day for 20 years and we accomplished absolutely nothing besides generating even more ill will in the Middle East. We should have stayed at home and spent that money on something that actually benefited Americans, let the CIA and some drone pilots deal with Bin Laden. I will never understand why America keeps making the same mistake over and over again, we invade these countries that don't want our help and get bogged down in unwinnable guerilla wars. I mean I know why, military industrial complex and all that, it's just such a waste of lives and money. |
