Accident Leaves Two Young Women Disfigured
Two young women were killed in a traffic accident on Monday night on BR-101 in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in Greater Recife. They were thrown out of the car and run over, according to the Federal Highway Patrol. Police reported that D.M.D.S., age 21, and G.S.S., age 19, did not resist their injuries and died on the spot. The accident occurred around 7 pm, at kilometer 79 of the highway. The driver of the car was identified as A.C.C.A.D.S., age 24. The driver claimed that the girls tried to jump from the vehicle in motion and were hit by his truck that passed by. He even said the two women were in the front seat of the car. According to the PRF, the driver had minor injuries. He refused a breathalyzer test and was taken to the Prazeres police station, which is investigating the case. |
