My BBF (best business friend) carries a Smith Wesson 669 in .357 magnum stainless with 6" barrel that I sold him for a friend price. He was in the 'Nam as a 2nd Lieutenant (hes in his70's) and they liked .357 mag wheel guns because they could penetrate the Chi-com body armor at that time. He practices with it until he can draw and point shoot and hit a playing card at short ranges without aiming. Most combat in Iraq and Trashcanistan occurred 15 feet or less, so a quick draw is useful.
