It looks like one of the first responders, ie the people standing there, is robbing him. At the 57 sec mark you see him reach in, then brings his hand up and then into his pocket.

Weird, nicotine usually hardens arteries and makes stroke much more likely, alcohol is what usually makes them thin and weak, thus easy to tear or form an aneurysm.
