Car Hits Motorcyclist And Overturns On Four-Lane

10.04.2024 - In a devastating incident near Thirumangalam, five individuals lost their lives as a speeding car collided with a two-wheeler.

Kanagavel, hailing from Villapuram, was returning from a temple visit in Thalavaipuram with his family. Meanwhile, Manikandam was driving his vehicle on the four-way lane when he lost control and crashed into the two-wheeler.

The impact of the collision caused the vehicle to spin over the four-way lane, crossing the center median and landing on the opposite side of the road. Kanagavel, his wife Krishnakumari, along with their relatives Nagajothhi and an eight-year-old girl, as well as the two-wheeler rider Pandi, tragically lost their lives on the spot.

Authorities from the Kallakurichi Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. The CCTV footage capturing the horrific accident has since gone viral.
