I think I saw a program About this place. If they make it over the fence then the Spanish have to take them as asylum seekers and take them in while the claim is heard. There was a documentary on a couple of years ago. About how they would plane raids to try to get into what looked like a compound. They were saying how the police would come to their camps and deliberately break arms and legs to stop them. The Spanish denied it and said they would grant asylum to anyone who “gets in”. So they would periodically raid the place in numbers with a view to a few getting through. Very interesting program if it’s the same place. Clearly the Spanish authorities have gotten even more harsh and are now shooting them at the gate instead of just breaking arms and legs. Damn |

I've been to Morocco it's actually a really neat country. These are African migrants who probably aren't even from Morocco trying to enter Europe by getting into the Spanish city of Melilla which is on the coast of Morocco. Once they get into that city they are technically in Europe.
