4 Cops in a Pick-up Truck Ambushed and Killed by Hail of Gunfire
Video surfaced showing an ambush of state police officers travelling a pick-up truck in a wooded, mountainous area by an armed criminal group leaving four policemen dead and one seriously injured by a hail of gunfire in the vicinity of the municipality of Almoloya de Alquisiras, south Mexico state. The attack took place on October 8, when the made a safety tour between Los Pinos and Plan de Viga and were ambushed by a heavily armed commando group that were waiting for them between rocks and trees on a wooded slope. Apparently the murderers left the place aboard a Pick-up truck, Ford Lobo type. Resident living nearby the place made an anonymous phone call giving notice of the facts, because the cops that were on board the patrol vehicle did not reach for help, because they were surprised in seconds and did not have the time to react against the aggression of the criminal group. The cops that lost their lives were P.A.T., B.D.L.V, J.R.P. and F.V.M., while F.R.G, was injured in his right leg. The southern area of the State of Mexico, there are numerous reports of criminal organizations dedicated to armed robbery, kidnapping, bribery and murder in addition to the bitter war between criminal groups such as "La Familia Michoacana" and "Los Rojos", who claim the area for the sale and distribution of drugs, under the complacency and omission of state authorities. The hit men responsible for the ambush do not define which group they belong to, they appear with their faces uncovered. |
