3 People Sitting on Sidewalk, Waiting Being Picked Up for Work, Hit by a Toyota
S. H, 42, M. P, 27, and J, 41, all from East Java were sitting on the sidewalk that late Monday morning chatting and smoking, waiting to be picked up to go to work, when suddenly a Toyota came crashing in hitting them. As a result of the collision, the J. 41 died at the scene due to severe injuries to the back of his head. S.H. suffered injuries to his head, back and became unconscious. Meanwhile, M.P, suffered a broken thigh in his right leg, a torn left temple, and a blister on his left shoulder. The two victims are currently receiving treatment at the Hospital. The Toyota driver was identified as N. W. A, 60 and was has been questioned by investigators from the Police Traffic Unit. To determine whether the driver was under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs, police immediately conducted a urine test. However, the final result was negative. From the results of the temporary examination, the driver of the car was suspected to be sleepy or his blood pressure was rising again. "From his wife's statement, the driver was either sleepy or his blood pressure relapsed," police explained. |

Hopefully his blood pressure will admit it has a problem, and check itself into rehab. It'll be a long road to recovery, but it looks like it hit rock bottom here today.
