Damn. Her note makes it especially sad. On the lighter side of things, my Spanish is rusty but the male voice says," Calm down" a number of times and "Don't touch her" to the first person who approaches the body. The sound of the body hitting the ground always makes me cringe. RIP, young one.

You honestly can't be that dumb, can you? But if you are, I'll explain what "people" mean with "the easy way out". They, "the people", are referring to life being hard, a struggle if you will, and to kill yourself is the easy way out of the struggle. But you're right in a sense when it comes to taking that first step. Cause once you're over that railing you can't do anything about it. Even if you survive you'll still be fucked. What a fucking ending: taking that final step, hearing a crowd of people scream in agony and then BAM ... total darkness forever. |

It might be hard to take that final step, but I think it's even harder to live life. In this life, you can feel pain, grief, depression, and hardship mixed in with brief bouts of joy, pleasure, and excitement. Once you are dead, there is nothing but the void. |

Three points: (1) She may have made her choice exactly because she could see beyond the moment - see a miserable, pathetic, impoverished life in front of her - neither you nor I know her particular circumstances; (2) While the people who were upset by what they witnessed made their presence know by crying and yelling, those who were entertained by what they saw would not do so (and who knows how many of them there were); and (3) Just how she "mattered" and to whom she "mattered" (e.g., God?) are certainly open questions.
