Re: 20 Year Old Woman Crossing the Road Hit and Killed by Out of Control Car
The problem with that is for vehicular manslaughter there has to be intent. It appears to be speed and stupidity unless he knew the victim and intentionally stole/drove the car and made it look like he lost control to hit her.

Her fault too for carelessly crossing the street in the middle of the road while traffic is flying by not even looking around.

Re: 20 Year Old Woman Crossing the Road Hit and Killed by Out of Control Car
As a police officer, it's hard to make judgements without actually being at the scene and knowing all the details, but what it looks like too me is the woman was crossing (not sure if it's illegal to jaywalk there or not, but she was somewhat careless in my opinion), the person driving was speeding (probably 10-15km over, if there is even a speed limit there), and he was probably distracted either by a phone or not looking at the road, saw the lady when he looked up (before the car enters the clip of the video), panicked and hit the brakes immediately, lost control and hit her.

Argentina, revenge will come soon enough there. If I was the drifter/driver, I would pack a bag, say farewell to family and head for the hills, preferably in another country. Cause if he don't, his ass is grass. |
