Re: 2 Men Drowned in New York
Yeah, that was a damn nice piece of wood though. The last time I saw a beauty like that it was on fire in the heart of a giant bonfire. I too convinced a nearby black youngster to retrieve it for me. I'll always remember that wood, and him.

Re: 2 Men Drowned in New York
You know a lot of people frown at us for viewing these sites but this is the perfect example of why many of us do, it teaches us truths about unpredictability and underlying dangers on a broad spectrum of occasions anyone could find themselves in. We definitely have more wisdom to make wiser choices around unsuspecting hazards with ability to see what others can't, even if 75% of the content makes you cringe? At least you have witnessed truth and been enlightened so hopefully now you are on a better path rather than in the dark how the system likes you #wideawake #freedom |

Re: 2 Men Drowned in New York
The water is roughly 15 to 20 feet deep in that area, and the swift-moving current can exceed speeds of 12 mph. Eddies in the area have an undercurrent that pulls toward the river and down. "They were in an eddy, so they didn't see the current," police said. There are warning signs not to enter the water but yet many do and many died over the years. |

Re: 2 Men Drowned in New York
Anyone from that area knows not to go in that shit. We were taught that as little scruffians. Me papa used to say: STAY THE FUCK OUTTA THE FOOT OF FERRY DUNCAN, UNLESS YOU WANNA END UP DEAD AND IN CANADA! Who the fuck would want that? |

Re: 2 Men Drowned in New York
I used to be a lifeguard. We would never try to rescue somebody without our floatation device which had a 20ft rope on it. We would swim out near the person and throw the rescue float which had handles on it and tow them back with the rope. Panicking motherfuckers will drown your ass with them.
