It's VERY common in China and other Asian countries to walk IN the lanes, drive against the traffic, ignore crossing areas & signals etc, etc etc. I've seen it many, many times I think it stems from going from dirt cart paths to modern, advanced infrastructure in LESS than one generation. And us westerners can't drive there: Who the hell would expect two girls walking down a major highway beside the barrier wall at night? The people from her town/ area, that's who Because they do it too |
