Brazil, A 16-year-old boy with mental disability committed suicide jumping from a telephone tower.

Military Police tried to talk to the victim to avoid climbing the tower as the boy jumped on the fence of the restricted area before climbing the tower.

The boy threw himself from a height of about 15 meters, during the fall he hit the iron structure several times and died instantly when he fell on the ground.

This was the second time that the boy, who lived in a city shelter, tried to take his own life.

Last month he tried to kill himself by throwing himself in front of a car, downtown area, but only suffered minor abrasions.

What a stupid way to commit suicide... 50 per cent chance to get paralized but not dead...just to draw attention... A rope is so much more effective ....

good point, but you will agree, if your wanting to kill your self, your not thinking straight. rope method is extremely painful, you don't just die like in the movies, it takes ages...
