That article is so strangely worded. I don’t think it was the hospital who placed him in critical condition. The video of the robbery and shooting makes it looks as if he was dead on the spot. I think the technical term for this is ‘janky.’

At first it looked like he had received a "predator face", but it seems to be just a bunch of coagulated blood stuck in his beard. His "jaw" seems fine. Predators would get a word out.
