The problem is that the NRA and similar people
have become infantile and stupid.
There is NO REASON for mentally ill people and criminals to have access to firearms. I support the 2nd amendment, but NOT the reasoning of the NRA.
The NRA believes that ANY limitation on the right to bear arms is evil.
This is not true. Keeping mentally ill people, those who have a potential for violence, and established criminals from getting access to weapons is simple common sense.
It isn't going to affect your rights any more than the Jewish Gay Space Lasers that everyone is worried about will.
Responsible gun ownership will preserve the 2nd Amendment.
Inflexible political stands will wind up ENDING the 2nd amendment. It can be changed, and the way the NRA is going, it WILL be changed. The same thing that happened in Australia will happen here.
Don't support gun ownership.
Support RESPONSIBLE gun ownership.
That is the only way to keep the 2nd amendment alive.
That's why I'm no longer in the NRA. They have devolved into total kooks.
