Only the rich women could afford to hobble 'daintily' down the street with the help of a maid, the poor can only afford to keep their feet unbound so they can actually work. Small feet are highly prized in Chinese tradition, and these were called "Three-Inch Golden Lilies" because they usually are no longer than three inches and wear little embroidered shoes. In Ancient China, the wealthy groom can apparently apparently ditch the bride at the alter if he lifted her hem and found that her feet were bigger than 3 inches. Thank goodness for modern times!

Chinese people especially have done this in the past centuries, It's been considered noble for women to have small, pointy feet, so they tied theyr feet tightly together at child's age, while the bones were soft, so they started bending and making the ideal foot form, although they can't walk with that kind of feet.

it's called foot binding..i heard alot of people did it in the old days of China..it was some sort of sexual fantasy or turn on alot of men had..they like small ass feet

Ahh kinda like the women in Africa or somewhere who put gold rings around there neck starting at a very young age and continue to add rings over time to stretch they're neck???? It's been stated that if they remove the rings, they're necks will snap because there is no spinal support. Very odd but I guess some folks will do anything to find the right man! You go girls!! Ok I'm Asian and I would never think of doing this to my feet. Not all Asian do this just the crazy ones and really fucked in the head ones that think this is sexy.
