Woman Mauled By Chimp- Before and After
The Charla Nash Chimp Attack Charla Nash, 55, had just arrived at her friend Sandra Herold's house when the chimp, named Travis, jumped on her and began biting and mauling her, causing serious injuries to her face, neck and hands, according to Stamford Police Capt. Rich Conklin, who said the attack was unprovoked. Herold had called Nash to her house to help get 14-year-old Travis back inside after he used a key to escape. While her friend was being attacked, Herold tried to pull the primate off her, but was unsuccessful. She then called 911 before stabbing the chimp with butcher knife and hitting him with a shovel. Neither fazed Travis, who police said was like a child to Herold. Stamford police later shot the chimp multiple times after he attacked an officer inside a police cruiser Travis returned to the house, where police later found him dead. It was estimated that Travis weighed close to 200 pounds. $50 million lawsuit filed by chimp-attack victim - Crime & courts- msnbc.com The following pictures are NOT of Charla as these are unavailable as yet. These are pictures of another chimp attack with the same type of injuries Charla Nash sustained. · · · · |

Re: Woman Mauled By Chimp- Before and After
Lol!! The site was just trying to show what a chimp attack's like because they have her picture up with Travis... They were trying to explain that she looked pretty much like this by the time the chimp had finished with her... This was a chimp attack too and as I don't think the actual pictures of Charla are available as yet they wanted to demonstrate the "horrors of a violent chimpanzee attack" or some other rubbish... I don't go with half the sites - they all contradict each other. But if this is what the chimp did to Charla then I'm looking forward to the real pictures. This poor cow didn't even make the news apparently after she got mauled....

That's the one that keeps coming up on Google so yeah, I'd say it's her. Plus, the women in the op looks more like a burn victim than anything.

Re: Woman Mauled By Chimp- Before and After
April 13, 2009 STAMFORD, Conn. - Attorneys for a Connecticut woman mauled by a chimpanzee asked a judge Monday to seal photos of the victim and her medical records from the public. Matt Newman, an attorney for the conservator of Charla Nash, says Nash’s right to privacy overrides the public’s right to see her injuries. The photos and records will be evidence in Nash’s $50 million lawsuit against chimp owner Sandra Herold. Chimp victim's family moves to seal photos - TODAY Health |
