Under French law posthumous marriages are possible as long as evidence exists that the deceased person had the intention while alive of wedding their partner. According to Christophe Caput, the mayor who married Jaskiewicz, her request was "rock solid". Let's say that it's highly questionable to say the least, though. Many times it happened that the Groom changed his mind one minute before saying "yes", in this case I doubt he could: on the other hand, it sounds like some nice lovestory. All in all, no gore. I was expecting to see the coffin as well. |
