Woman Impaled on Spiked Fence.
Turkish mother Ceyda Oruk endured excruciating pain when she was stabbed in the arm by the iron spikes of a fence she was trying to hop to get to a mulberry bush – all while her shocked 5-year-daughter looked on. “All the ones that you could reach from the road had been grabbed, but I realised if I hopped over the fence I could probably grab a handful to keep her happy,” she said. “But the bars were really close together and I slipped, and suddenly found myself impaled on the spikes.  ·  ·  ·  · |

She would work darn well as HPDA (Human Portable Directional Antenna): all she need would be an amplifier, a roll of coaxial cable and four RF connectors: that would cover all frequencies from 7 to 1002 MHz, and she can watch TV Anywhere.  |

Yeah, was wondering. She must have been there at least an hour while they cut through the bars and they probably cleaned her up, but there's no blood on her shirt either.

The lack of blood is explainable: impaled objects should never be removed (they should be removed immediately only if the victim needs CPR -and the object is in the way- or the object is obstructing the victim's central airways), as they put pressure on the wound, controlling bleeding: in this case the objects adhere perfectly to the wounds, minimizing if not stopping bleeding.

My friends dad was a surgeon and came home angry one day. He explained that someone came upon a victim of a stabbing and pulled the knife out, causing him to bleed to death from a wound that he may have survived.
