Re: Woman Hammers Screwdriver into Knee
I get it just fine. An act of desperation, taking matters into their own hands (or knees), and forcing a doctor who previously waved off your symptoms to examine you more thoroughly as many causes of knee pain do not show up on X-rays and require exploratory surgery just to find them. Of course doctors are skittish about this stuff. It's a risky procedure-one wrong move and their medical malpractice premiums are through the roof |

Re: Woman Hammers Screwdriver into Knee
a good orthopedic surgeon is not skittish about knee surgery. i knew my son's ortho was good because he talked as if my son's surgery was an everyday procedure for him. it was. i went home and read his bio. if you find any surgeon to be skittish, get the hell out, he lost his mojo and is worth nothing to anyone now. all good sugeons are full of themselves and psyched to cut! |

Re: Woman Hammers Screwdriver into Knee
Some docs wont treat because they are afraid to make things worse which makes them cowards. Some other docs wont treat because they don't think your pain is real which makes them dicks. Doctors are there to help you not run from you or disregard you.
