Those guys are complete clowns with weapons 'safety'. My guess is that it is a 7.62x54R projectile from a belt fed GPMG or SVD Dragonov fired up in the air in 'celebratory fire'. It hit here on top of the head with enough impact force to stick, but not penetrate that deeply which suggests to me a falling projectile. It's a .30 caliber round and those guys use either AK's or PKM's & SVD Dragonov's (and their copies). Only the PKM's and SVD Dragonov's are chambered in 7.62x54R. The AK projectile is significantly shorter the the PKM round. In the photo below, the projectile at the farthest right is a 7.62x54R projectile and the projectile to it's immediate left is a 7.62x39 projectile. |
