I always done mine myself and all are perfect. I have stretched my earlobes to 00 (anything larger would look douchtacular on me) and did my own industrial, nipples, labret, and Jacob's ladder

I don't really condone self-piercing, but it sounds like you've got it pretty much under controll. The only thing that concerns me is the hygiene.. But since it has worked out well, it's all good=)

nice info.. but i got all my piercings by myself.. no guns or what so ever..just a pin/needle let it heal for a couple of days about 3-5days then put the real thing on my ear.. |

Just recalled that my mom did do her own ear piercings. If I remember correctly it was some kit they sold long ago that was spring powered, it broke and shot the spring through her ear lobe. They healed up fine, one is a little lower than the other, but she still has the original piercings. She told the story to some poor sap when I went to get my ears pierced (for the 2nd time on that hole  ) and the guy (in combination with me getting my ears pierced as he watched) looked like he was gonna puke and left the store. Heh, pussy...

 I got my second set of holes done at a jewelry store with one of those guns, and the woman doing it yanked as she was piercing my ear so i ended up with a massive infection. my ear was purple and blue, swollen to 3 times its normal size. so i tend to shun anyone with a piercing gun now adays.

Same as everyone else. Got my ears done the first time, at the mall, with one of those guns. Ended up getting infected so I took them out and the holes never closed. My ears look fine now, but I'll be damned if I ever go near one of those guns again.  |

I got an ear piercing as a birthday gift from my dad, and we went to a hair saloon to get it. They used a gun on me, and the damned thing didn't heal for 4 months. I ended up taking it out. I also have a piercing in my lip, which I got in a piercing studio, the guy used a needle, and it healed fine. I know where I'll go the next time I am getting a piercing -.- |
