Pretty sure it's a ganglion cyst- had a good deal bigger one on the top of my wrist. It caused no pain, but was getting bigger. Went to the doc, he said to come back when it bothered me. In another month, almost overnight, it became very painful, and even bigger, the size of half a golf ball. Anyway, got it removed. Have a three inch scar as a reminder! They showed it to me, it had 'tentacles' that were wrapping around the nerves and tendons of my wrist, hence the pain. Hope that helps!

no. at least not that i know of. it wasn't one of my bugs, i know that much. it's still there though, it's hard like bone, and it isn't rotting, so i'm gonna go with cyst. |
