This woman was a victim of vitriolage (acid throwing), which is a particularly brutal form of violence against women which runs rampant in the Middle East and India. While she did not die, she is now permanently disfigured.

I just want to bring all the people together who have been hurt by this (especially the women) and just hug them and take them to a safer place.. Or at least viciously bite the attackers.. |

that is heartbreaking. someone needs to repay the attackers the same way. she probably turned some gross pig's marriage proposal down and this is what he did to her..

I remember reading about an American woman who had that done to her. She was either going to or coming home from work. It was totally random. Some idiot just threw a cup of acid in her face as he was walking by. Beyond nasty. |
