This is so sad, yet so amazing at the same time. ((yet true to DR, I do have to input that having a child touch a fetus of a dead animal is kind of odd yet cool. Cool because that's something not many get to DO with a perfectly formed yet way too young elephant, but odd cuz it's like 'touch the fetus, Timmy. This is like you were when you were 2 months old in your moms tummy." Shiver.)) Aside from that though, this is an amazing picture all around. Look how well FORMED that wee thing is! Elephant fetuses really 'mature' fast in the womb at such a young young gestational age. I agree it should be taxidermed and kept just as it looks now. |
