Not at all. Usually a parasitic twin is connected to a head and may or may not have a body. If it has some organs, it puts a strain on the stronger baby's heart. I remember the Egyptian girls, who later did die, but, the full bodied twin had several heart attacks. They were infants. After the separation, the surviving twin never smiled. Twins are supposed to feel what the other twin feels and have a special bond. There are also cases of fetus in fetu or foetus in foetu, wherein one twin is inside the oither twin and is not found for several years sometimes. |
