The only dumb ass here is the police guy who throws a stun grenade ("flashbang") into a crowd. It may have killed someone and probably everyone in 3m range has a hearing defect now...

I hope they sue the shit out of him.

It's a flashbang, the cloud after detonation is not teargas but the smoke of the explosive used - the same is used in professional fireworks because of the flash and the very loud thunder.
It's not a flash bang grenade...it's a gas canister...they pop/explode when they initially release their gas/smoke and then get real hot so they cannot be picked up and thrown back at police. This is nothing like a flash bang...more like a shotgun blank round going off. Flash bang grenades are designed to explode within a metal cage and give a very loud bang and a temporarily blinding flash (hence their name). They're really not made to be used outside...they're more of an inside toy.

Macedonia isn't in any way part of Greece. Beautiful clean country, (save for the nasty Albanian areas).

I haven't been there during any riots. I couldn't even imagine them being a rioting crowed they still talk about this event, as if it was the event of the century.

Unless you're talking about Macedonia, Greece? That is possible, they are a bit rowdy there..

However this event in the video took place in the country of Macedonia FYROM, not Not in Greece.
