Re: The Son of a Friend Sliced His Finger Cutting Cucumbers

I'm afraid that one of these days, I'll end up doing this. It's to the point now that I rarely use sharp knives...just in case!

A dull knife is more dangerous then a sharp knife.

I mean I rarely use anything sharper than a butter knife that would barely tear through a piece of bread. I don't go around dulling my steak knives or my chefs' knives just so I can use them!

I have some of those, what used to be called, Ginzu knives, lol!

I never tried to slice a muffler then a tomato though.

Re: The Son of a Friend Sliced His Finger Cutting Cucumbers

Yep..that smarted...

And when they cleaned it? Bet he howled...

Keep seeing the corner cuts on fingers in threads..see a lot of this happen with deli slicers.. (Seen some people take their finger prints+ clean off with a deli slicer.. youch!)

Hope that heals up quick for him.
