So. I Burnt Myself Pretty Bad.
Cooking food for all the family I was frying a lot of things. Long story short fuckin' whole gallon pot of hot grease slipped off and fell on my foot. Sock was stuck. Haha. Waited for it to "heal" to post this.

Back in 1996, was working at a steak/seafood restaurant, was cleaning the fryers. (Well, about to clean the fryers.) Dumbass 16 yr old me, forgets to turn fryer off, opens the valve to the fryer drain. over shoot the bucket below the drain...get my foot...   HOWEVER... I seen my fuck up right away and had my shoe off in like 4 seconds. No burns.  Lesson learned the hard way for me.  Sucks that happened to you, but could have been a LOT worse. 2004, guy I worked with carrying a pot (big pot.), plain boiling water with like 20 lbs of pasta... oven mitt slipped, spilled it right on his foot... didn't get his shoe off right away and ended up needing surgery, was out of work for like 6 weeks+. For water...not oil..  Had you been wearing shoes and it dropped right on top of the foot and not gotten it off right away? yeah... you would have been fucked.. (And still looks like you kind of gotten lucky.. only that side on bottom insole. I'm sure walking with that was pleasant nevertheless )

Hah yea. Never went to the hospital. Stubborn. Good Ol aloe did the trick. Soaked my shorts too. Haha never gotten clothes off so fast. Burns suck.
