Damn! I had no idea that could happen! What is the heal time for his foot? Is there any cream or remedy for it or you just have to wait for it to heal?

he had to go to a burn center. the dr treated it like a burn...so it needs to be cleaned, bandaged & burn cream applied regularly. thankfully it's healing nicely...there was no need for a skin graft

Wow, I had no idea epsom salt could cause that kind of damage.
they used regular table salt

Were they just trying to do a reular soothing foot soak or did he already have a condition of some sort?
he had a cut on a toe that got infected. because he's diabetic his dr put him on antibiotics and suggested a salt soak so soothe and help healing. he's also on blood thinners which makes me wonder if that made his skin more sensitive/thinner.
