Agent Orange is a mixture of two herbicides: 2,4-D and 2,4,5-T. It was used as a defoliant by the army of the United States of America (USA) in the Vietnam War. Both constituents of Agent Orange were used in agriculture, especially the 2,4-D sold today in products such as Tordon.

On the issues of negligence and haste for use during the Vietnam War, was produced with inadequate purification, showing high levels of carcinogenic a byproduct of the synthesis of 2,4,5-T: Tetrachlorodibenzodioxin dioxin.

This residue is not normally found in commercial products that include these two ingredients, but forever marked the name of Agent Orange, the use of which has left terrible consequences on the population of that country and in their own U.S. soldiers.

Yeah, not only are the children suffering but there are also veterans of the war who are suffering to this day as a result. My friends father died from cancer. Cancer believed to be blamed by Agent Orange.

My father's a vet. He never actually saw combat, he was a cryptoanalyst, but he still refuses to say much about it, refuses to watch any films about the War.....
