Re: Raynaud's Disease

I have this too, in my fingers and usually in cold weather. It apparantly runs in my family and my grandad calls it 'thompsons finger' as all the women have it. I also have hypothyroidism. What is primary and secondary raynauds? (although I will google it, I've never met anyone with this before other than me)
Secondary Raynaud's is caused by another underlying condition. My thyroids aren't an issue and there's no family history of this (although my family is wrought with medical issues). Along with a few other things that have been occurring in the past few years, I believe mine is secondary also. Thanks for sharing

Re: Raynaud's Disease

My wife tells me that there is conjecture that the numerous blood test spikes diabetics do can cause Raynauds. Her mum was recently advised not to test daily, but just once a week.

And diabetes can produce much the same appearance as well, doe to sugar blocking the blood vessels, or something along those lines.
